KızBaşına (Just a Girl) is a social responsibility platform working on reducing the effects of gender-based social inequality. 

Today, at KızBaşına, there is a  search for new and innovative ways to grow and develop the community. One such way is through challenging inequality, specifically the issue of gender inequality in defense projects. With Imaginetic and through the Women in Command Game Project, KizBasina  plans on designing a first ever Hybrid Threats wargame for women with leadership potential. Funded by the US Embassy of Ankara, the spearheaders of this project at KizBasina believe that this project carries an opportunity to train future women leaders in a unique way. 

Imaginetic has become invaluable during this time as they have become the main support team for the KizBasina wargame design team.  With weekly meetings, discussions range from the fundamentals of the project, research, existing wargames, and the steps necessary to ensure a successful completion of the Hybrid Threats wargame. 

With the founder of Imaginetic, Tom Fisher’s oversight, the KizBasina team has been designing experimental wargames and receiving thoughtful feedback as they improve in wargame design. During the first three weeks of the project, the KizBasina team saw drastic improvements in their wargame capabilities and their application of unique perspectives.  

As the workshop proceeds, the Imaginetic team and KizBasina continue to work together to develop lifelong skills of wargame development and successfully complete the project which spearheaded the conversation: providing women in leadership with resources and opportunities.
